Hal,
I'm 5'10", and around 200 lbs. I put Highway Hawk forward controls and a travelcade seat on mine, and I'm pretty durn comfortable. I also run "mini-ape" handlebars, and I use a Lazyrider bag/backrest combo. Bottom line is that since the engine and tranny are all in one case (as opposed to a being seperate and having the engine drive your tranny via a "primary" chain or belt, and then the tranny drive the rear wheel via the "usual" belt/chain), the bike is alot shorter than most cruisers. That could lead to problems, but the only way to know is to sit on it. Then again, I haven't really gotten creative with slimming my seat, and you could. You might also try running the stock controls with a highway bar and pegs for cruising (this is the setup I had for a while, which actually gave me more room than my forward controls, but you have to move your feet around more....). If you're interested in that option, I know where you could get the complete setup at a good price (it's gathering dust in my garage right now!!!!).
KTRSD,
-Jim
